2010 Pinot Gris This vintage had a difficult fruit set, naturally restricting crop size. Then a long dry end to summer resulting in the cleanest premium fruit we’ve seen. We 100% barrel fermented the wine for added complexity, Nicely aromatic and enjoyably fresh with hints of apricot, apples and pears and just the lightest lick of oak. Great with seafood, chicken, any light dish or just because you deserve it. 2010 Flora: You’ll be hearing more of this exciting new variety! It is a cross of Semillon and Gewürztraminer. This wine had extended cold soak on its skins before crushing to bring out extra fruit and spice and a slight apricot tinge to the colour. Its full bodied with punchy fruity bouquet and tropical and stone fruit flavours. 2009 Cabernet Franc /Malbec /Merlot Easy to see why the French have been using this blend for centuries. The great spice and berry fruit flavours and aromatics from Cabernet Franc, the big colour and body of Malbec and the smooth roundness of Merlot work perfectly together. The grapes were harvested over several picks for optimum ripeness. The result: a smooth, warm wine with hints of cherry and plum fruit, pepper and light tannins. Perfect summer red. Pinot Noir drinkers also seem to love this one.
